Job: Russian language instructor

Message from Dr. Judth E. Kalb, Associate Profesor of Russian an dComparative Literature at the University of South Carolina:

We are looking for an instructor to teach four courses per semester, from beginning language to advanced, with the possibility of a culture or linguistics class one semester. Applicants will need to have minimum MA in Russian or related field and need to be authorized to work in the US with no need of sponsorship for future employment. We are particularly looking for someone with a passion for teaching, program building, and working as a team player in a small program known for its dedicated faculty. Since classes include advanced Russian, native or near-native Russian language is a must.

Our job is not yet officially posted but I wanted to get word out as soon as possible. Once I have the official web listing, I will post it ASAP. In the meantime, if you are interested in applying or have questions about the job, I’d love to hear from you off list at
