CFP: Slovo (Journal)

Deadline to Apply: March 24, 2019


Our journal is looking for contributions in the fields of anthropology, archaeology, cultural studies, economics, film studies, history, literary studies, philosophy, political science, sociology, or interdisciplinary studies. To be considered, the articles must focus on Russian, Central and Eastern European and Central Asian affairs. The deadline for submission (for upcoming issue 32.1) is 24 March 2019. 

Acceptable contributions include full-length research articles and book, film, and article film reviews from research students or academics. Research articles should be 6,000-8,000 words (including footnotes), include a 100-200 word abstract, and adhere to MHRA Style. The maximum length for a review is 700 words. Please send submissions via email attachment to slovo@ssees.ucl.ac.uk.

All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous selection and editing process. Selected full-length papers will be sent for outside peer review. Contributions submitted must not be under consideration by other publications at the time of submission. The editors reserve the right to make any changes as necessary.
