This program is about exploring Russia at street-level. A local expert introduces students to field research and guides them through the process, focusing each student's work on a theme of their choice. At the end, students write a newspaper-style article based on their findings. A language tutor helps those who choose to write in Russian, and strong Russian-language work is published in Downtown.ru, a popular Voronezh newspaper.
