CFP: International e-Conference on Social Sciences 2020

Deadline: October 30th (Abstract Submission)

We are pleased to invite you to the International Conference entitled “The Uncertainties and Challenges in the Balkans: Case of Covid’19” organized by the University of New York Tirana. Due to continued uncertainties surrounding the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, the conference will be held Online via Zoom on November 20, 2020.  

The conference welcomes researchers from Albania, the Balkans, and beyond to present their research, developmental activities, and findings in front of local and international experts, part of the scholars' community. It also provides an interdisciplinary forum for practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent events caused by Covid’19 in the fields of Economics, Management and Business; Political, Social and Cultural Studies; Education; Psychology; Law; Human Rights; Marketing and Media.  

  

Conference language is English.  

  

There is no participation fee.  

  

Our publication opportunities:  

All abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings, while extended and/or improved selected papers will be published at the Second Issue of the “International Journal of Balkan Studies”. 

  

Important dates:

October 30, 2020 – deadline for abstract submission.  

Includes an extended abstract of 300 - 500 words. It should provide information on the scope of the contribution, aimed benefits for a reader, main methods used, and findings. Authors should respect the conference guidelines for extended abstract format and content which can be found on the conference website. Please submit your extended abstract at e-conference2020@unyt.edu.al.  

November 2, 2020 – deadline for paper presentation submission.  

November 20, 2020 – e-Conference day. 

December 20, 2020 – deadline for full paper submission.
