Importantly, the Frank Porter Graham Professor will be expected to engage with diverse public audiences beyond the University. The UNC-Chapel Hill History Department is committed to a vision of the University where all where all members of the community feel valued and can thrive. The ideal candidate will share this commitment.

To apply, please follow this link (https://unc.peopleadmin.com/postings/243585) and submit online your current CV and a cover letter. The committee will notify finalists before soliciting letters of recommendation. The Department of History is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes all to apply, including those who live and teach outside the United States. We particularly welcome applications from women, BIPOC, veterans, LGBTIAQ+, individuals with disabilities, and other groups of people from historically and currently marginalized backgrounds.
