CFA: MA in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies, The Ohio State University

Deadline: December 31, 2022

The Center for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies (CSEEES) at The Ohio State University is currently accepting applications to our interdisciplinary Master’s programs. CSEEES offers several curricular options at the graduate level for students seeking to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the East European and Eurasian regions. These programs allow students to pursue an interdisciplinary course of study by taking courses from academic departments across campus, to develop a regional or country specialization, and to enhance their language skills. CSEEES is a Title VI-funded National Resource Center and administers Foreign Language and Area Studies fellowships.

The MA in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies is a terminal degree offered by CSEEES that accepts applications on a yearly basis from prospective students. The deadline for applications for Autumn 2023 is December 31, 2022.

Students in the MA in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies program are also able to pursue dual degrees with other graduate and professional programs at Ohio State, while CSEEES also allows students in other graduate and professional programs to pursue a concurrent degree in Slavic, East European and Eurasian studies. Of particular note, CSEEES has a three-year dual degree program in Slavic, East European and Eurasian studies and Public Affairs in partnership with the John Glenn College of Public Affairs and a three-year dual degree in Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies and Bioethics in partnership with the Ohio State University College of Medicine.

The Graduate Interdisciplinary Specialization in East European and Eurasian Studies is a curricular option for current graduate students at Ohio State who wish to certify their knowledge of Eastern Europe and Eurasia in addition to their primary degree.
