The University of Michigan Global
Health Design Initiative is seeking part-time student temps to remotely
support translational research and program development activities.
Students will perform project-related work virtually. Project topics
include:
- Global Health Technology Implementation: Students will explore pathways for implementing global health technologies that were developed by student teams at the University of Michigan.
- Clinical Trial Preparation: Students will work with clinicians and research staff to plan a small-scale clinical study to evaluate an assistive device for removing subdermal contraceptive implants.
- Design Thinking Curriculum Development: Students will develop a sustainable and scalable model for delivering design thinking curriculum to non-engineers at a partnering institution in Ghana.
- Postdoctoral Training Program Development: Students will support the design of a new postdoctoral training program to build local research capacity in order to accelerate the development, implementation, and scaling of global emergency medicine and maternal health technologies.
