Tamara Djermanovic, Professor of Aesthetics and Art Theory in the Department of Humanities, Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain), is open to receiving Expressions of Interest from potential candidates for the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA IF) 2019 Call.
Prof. Djermanovic is lectures at the Faculty of Humanities, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where she is head of the research group Seminar of Slavic Studies. Both in her research and in her teaching, she considers the problem of a particular development of literature, art and aesthetics in the Russian world and forms of dialogue that were being established in these fields with the Western Europe.
Her research interests are Russian Literature, Russian Culture, Aesthetics and Philosophy; Dostoevsky, Russian Icon, Malevich, Tarkovsky.
Eligibility criteria
At the deadline for the submission of proposals (11/09/2019) researchers:
- shall be in possession of a doctoral degree or 4 years of full-time equivalent experience;
- must not have resided or carried out their main activities in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the above mentioned deadline.
Selection process
Researchers willing to apply should check that they fulfil the call's eligibility criteria and then send an expression of interest, consisting of:
- A Curriculum Vitae (5 pages max);
- A summary presentation of their research proposal (2-3 pages);
- The contact information of two referees
Expressions of interest must be submitted no later than the 31st March 2019 to josep.niubo (a) upf.edu . The title of the email must be "MSCA application – Prof. Djermanovic – your name and surname"
Proposals will be pre-selected on the basis of internal evaluation. Candidates will be informed of the results of the pre-selection 2 weeks days after the deadline. The deadline for the submission of proposals to the Commission has been set for the 11th September 2019.
