Call for Proposals: "Companions to Slavic Literature" Book Series

Academic Studies Press (Brookline, MA) is pleased to announce a new book series, "Companions to Slavic Literature", edited by Steven Teref (Harry S. Truman College, Chicago).

The "Companions to Slavic Literature" series features accessible volumes designed to introduce and inform the reading of literature from Slavic countries and languages beyond the borders of Russia. Volumes will include anthologies and introductions to translated literature as well as companion editions to well-known authors and works.

Companion volumes will be written by scholars with recognized expertise on the subject, and will provide information for a general audience that is essential to understanding the text in its cultural and historical context. Each volume will also illuminate the most important interpretive issues and include an essential bibliography for further study. An ASP title that serves as a model for this series is Zenithism (1921–1927): A Yugoslav Avant-Garde Anthology.

To submit a book proposal for this series, please download and fill out our book proposal form as fully as possible and email it to ASP Acquisitions Editor Daniel Frese (dfrese@academicstudiespress.com) or Series Editor Steven Teref (steref@academicstudiespress.com).
